LED Kitchen Fixture Review: Beautiful Brushed Nickel “Saturn” Style LED Ceiling Fixture

Lithonia LED Saturn Flush Mount Ceiling Fixture

Everyone wants their kitchen to look nice.  An LED ceiling light fixture is a great way to spice up a kitchen, bathroom, or any other room and make it look beautiful.  The right fixture can add a whole new dynamic to a room, and the right light output can set the perfect mood.  One great way to achieve this is to install an LED kitchen fixture.  I really like the Lithonia LED Saturn Flush Mount Ceiling Fixture.

This contemporary LED ceiling fixture gives a modern flair to your kitchen, and nicely compliments stainless steel appliances.  Its 16 inch size won’t dominate the room, but won’t be so small that it looks awkward.  This fixture is dimmable and comes in a 3000K “warm” color light output that will give your room a cozy feeling. This LED fixture is much cooler burning than its standard incandescent and fluorescent counterparts, which will help keep the room temperature down.

It’s also available in a bronze option, and also in a 4000K “cool” color light output.  It only uses 23 watts and puts out 1220 lumens which is a little less than a 75 watt halogen flood.  If you would like to calculate the electricity savings for this fixture compared to your current fixture, I can show you how on my Energy Savings Calculator page.

The fixture’s life rating is 50,000 hours which comes down to between five to seven years, in which you will never have to change another light bulb.

Lithonia is a company known for their quality and support.

In conclusion, flush mount LED ceiling lights are a quick and easy way to add style to your room. I think this fixture is a very high-quality, modern accessory that would beautifully compliment any room you add it to.  I find it to be one of the nicest LED ceiling lighting fixtures available.

Electricity has gotten so expensive! So LED lights are a perfect idea. I recently upgraded my kitchen light to this fixture and love it =)

It really does give the room a nice, cozy feeling and sits flush against the ceiling so no one is running into it. I am thinking of replacing my light in the dining room with this because my current light hangs so far down off of the ceiling that it almost touches my table!

    Thanks for the great review!

I like the LED they are so efficient now that I don’t know why we don’t put them in all our houses when we first build them and change out all the old ones. The only thing is they are on the high price side yet, they also like this fixture come with the fixture and does not have a way to change out the LED so you have to buy another fixture instead of new led. I like the company though besides Philips they are making great strides in LED.

Hi Tony. Thanks for visiting my page. The price of LED bulbs has come down to point where they pay for themselves with the energy savings you achieve. Everyone should be using them. With this particular fixture, the LED should last for 5 – 7 years, so I guess the thinking is that you would save so much energy that it’s worth just replacing the fixture. 🙂

LED kitchen fixture was something i was looking for around. I didn’t know that there were LED manufacturers doing kitchen fixtures. Seems like sky is the limit now.

5000 hours and 4000 k cool light sounds pretty great! I think it would be enough to illuminate every corner of my kitchen well.. What do you think??

Hi Tyler, thank you for visiting my page. If you like the cooler or “whiter” light, that fixture would be perfect for your kitchen. It would also last for 5 – 7 years without having to change a light bulb. 🙂
